STOP: C0000221 UNKNOW HARD ERROR

Quote:

STOP: C0000221 UNKNOW HARD ERROR
\SYSTEMROOT\SYSTEM32\NTDLL.DLL

:help:

Ciao!

How many optical drives do you have?

Utilize only one optical drive and disable its Ultra DMA access.

Double check the IDE cables and the jumper settings.

Depending on your particular system..

configuration, you should look in Device Manager under the following headings:

+IDE ATA\ATAPI controllers

+DVD CD-ROM drives

+System devices
Direct memory access controller

Are you sure that the new hard drive and the installation CD are OK?

No, I am not sure

Ok, here is a list of what you could do:

Reset the BIOS to its defaults.

Clear the CMOS settings.

Run a hard drive test.

Run a memory test.

Check for the installation CD\DVD disc integrity.
