Il calcolo delle password admin/supervisor/WiFi per i nuovi firmware in base al seriale del modem viene effettuato tramite un emulatore per il sistema Zyxel.
Questo emulatore è stato originariamente sviluppato da maximuz e modificato da bovirus.

Emulatore Zyxel mod by bovirus (R05 - 26.10.2021) - Download (host mega.nz) - Testato e consigliato!!!!

Leggere con attenzione il file Leggimi all'interno dell'archivio dell'emulatore Zyxel.

Utente login emulatore = root
Password login emulatore = root

Per chi volesse usare il tool in Windows serve il programma QEMU (emulatore).

QEMU per Windows 32bit o 64bit
QEMU per Windows 64bit

ho notato un particolare dopo l' aggiornamento alla versione V517ABNY7C0.

Faccio partire l' aggiornamento SENZA selezionare "Ripristina le impostazioni predefinite di fabbrica dopo l'aggiornamento del firmware"

Al riavvio accedendo come admin e usando le password ricavate con l' emulatore "Zyxel VMG8825-B50B - Software Emulation R05 by bovirus mod 2021.10.24" NON si entra.

Per risolvere ho dovuto accedere come supervisor, cancellare l' account admin e ricrearlo.

Questa la mia esperienza se può essere utile. :)

Questo thread si occupa eslcusiamnte del kit per calcolare la password.

Per quanto riguarda il firmware in oggetto devi postare nel thread del firmware stock per VMG8825.

Ragazzi esiste questo tool per il modem VMG8828-B50B?
Ho provato questa versione con il mio seriale ma le password ottenute non coincidono.
Ciò significa probabilmente che il tool non è compatibile col mio router.
Fatemi sapere se volete espandere la compatibilità del tool... posso essere utile in fase di test... ;)

Just wanted to add that I have the emulator running in windows! Your instructions were perfect and very clear.

At least for the wifi password, we already have it converted to python if that makes it easier for some of the audience. https://github.com/plumlulz has a lot of the zyxel wifi password generators in python3.

We have many python scripts for a large variety of Zyxel models. Including recently the centurylink models C1000Z,C1100Z, C2100Z and C3000Z

Ho installato il QEMU 20220804 e scompattato il software emulation r05 by Bovirus. Quando clikko su zyxel-quemu.bat mi si apre um popup con scritto che il programma non può essere aperto perché manca " LIBJXL.DLL " e di reinstallare il programma. Già provato a reinstallare più volte ma ricevo sempre il solito errore. Consigli? Grazie

Provato emulatore QEMU v. 04.08.2022 versione 64bit.

Lanciato file batch emulatore r05.

Nesun problema nè segnalazione di DLL mancante.

Puo dipendere da Windows 7 ?
